Dr Risko was born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA. He graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in 1991, and after graduating, he did a one-year General Practice Residency in Burlington, Vermont. Dr. Risko spent over 20 years as Program Director of two dental residency programs. He now enjoys doing clinical dentistry, getting to know his patients, and making them feel more comfortable in the dental chair. Dr. Risko lives in Lititz, PA, with his amazing wife Tami and their dog, Buddy. Interests of Dr. Risko include doing crossword puzzles, reading, and traveling, especially to Europe.

Sheila came to Brighter Smiles Family Dental to help her daughter Tyna, after being retired for 2 years. She feels it is a nice, friendly place to work and has always enjoyed having her own dental work done here. Sheila worked as a head cashier and bookkeeper for Pathmark for 21 years, and with CNA Commercial Insurance for 18 years.

She has been married for over 30 years and has two children and four grandchildren, and a great-grandson. Sheila loves walking her rescue dog, Eddie, and spending time with family. Her favorite place to vacation is in Gatlinburg, Tennessee, which is a great place for hiking, moonshine, and bourbon.

Janet is an experienced dental hygienist with over twenty years of experience dedicated to preventive dentistry and patient care. Her career path has been diverse, spanning roles in administrative and surgical support in oral and maxillofacial surgery before settling into her current position as a dental hygienist in Pennsylvania. Holding an Associate’s Degree in Applied Science in Dental Hygiene from Northampton Community College and a degree from Immaculata College in Washington, DC. Janet brings a wealth of expertise to her practice, ensuring optimal oral health for her patients. In addition to her professional pursuits, Janet is a passionate advocate for animal welfare, particularly for greyhounds and horses. Finding solace and rejuvenation in nature, she spends her free time immersed in its beauty. Janet takes pride in being a mother of two and a grandmother, residing in the Lebanon area, where she continues to positively impact her community through her work and personal interests.

I have been in the Dental Field for 41 years as a Dental Assistant and a Dental Receptionist! My Greatest asset is that I Love People and I love being able to meet their needs, so that each patient has a great dental experience. My Favorite place to be is at the Beach with my family!
